These tools are the standard, must-have tools for successful application of waxes.

Plexi Scraper
The true must-have for any waxer; XC or alpine! Available in both 3mm and 4mm for more or less flex. These two options are generally personal preference though it is better to take a more flexible option for less flat ski bases. Rode also makes an extra wide scraper for snowboard waxing!

Groove Scraper
A versatile tool for all XC disciplines. Multiple different sized grooves can be scraped. This tool is also equipped with 2 different edge scraping profiles.

Fibertex
Rode's Fibertex is available in two different coarseness options: fine (grey) or x-fine (white). Fibertex is ideal for removing burrs from glide zones, or scrubbing old grip wax out with wax remover.

Synthetic Cork
A must have for applying your favourite Rode grip waxes. Grab a few; One for cold waxes, one for warm waxes, one for klister, one for binders! The synthetic cork holds together better than natural making it better for aggressive grip waxing.

Natural Cork
A classic in a wax box that has mostly been replaced for its original use. Natural corks are mostly used for generating heat into liquid and cold-apply glide waxes. Though they can still be used for grip waxes, most waxers have switched over to synthetic corks for them.

Multiscraper
A versatile tool for grip wax removal. Scrape grip zones in any which way. It has a rounded bit for grooves, a square bit for edges, and a wide, flat, toothed side for the main grip pocket.

Hand Brushes

The affordable, EU-made line of hand brushes. You will find these brushes on many wax benches due to their versatility and super affordable prices. Many brushes are available in both: standard rectangles for XC waxing, or in large ovals for alpine waxing.

Bronze
A very popular aggressive bronze brush for brushing out melt waxes after scraping. This brush is fairly aggressive making it best for harder waxes. It is also great for cleaning old waxes off with glide zone cleaner. This brush is also available in an oval.

Short-Hair Wool
With the new 70mm roto line, comes a new short hair wool. This wool is specifically for applying wool-apply waxes into the base of the ski. Matched with the new 70mm Long Hair Wool, you would switch to that one for buffing the waxing. You will require a short hair wool for every different type of wax since you apply the wax directly onto the brush.

Handle
The standard handles. Another "more affordable the the rest of the market" product. These handles have an easy to grip rubber handle with a standard 10mm hex shaft. These handles are available in 100mm, 120mm, 200mm, and 300mm.

140mm Handle
It is a bit weird that Rode changed their handle design for this one length but alas. This new handle will be for their new 70mm brushes, or any other 70mm and 140mm brushes that you may already have in the wax box. There is an option shield to go with this handle as well.

Side Edge File Guides
File your side edges to your desired angle. These aluminum file guides clamp your diamond or chrome files at a precise angle without the need of a clamp. Choose any angle between 90° and 86°.

Base Edge File Guide
Before filing your side edges, you will want to give the base edge a good finish first. This guide helps to set your bevel on your base edge between 0.5° and 1.5°.

Sidewall Cutter
Keep your sidewalls under control when sharpening your edges. Trimming the phenol on your sidewall keeps the edge free to do its job and bite into the snow.

Diamond Files
High quality files for high quality tuning. Available between 100 grit to 1500 grit for all levels of polish. These files work great with the Rode file guides.

Chrome Files
These files are great for more aggressive work on edges. Remove large scuffs and damage to edges. The finer chrome files are much more affordable than diamond files making them more desirable to recreational skiers and youth racers.

Abrasive Rubber
The abrasive rubber, or gummy stone, is great for quick removal of burrs and rust from edges before sharpening. They are also great for smoothing tips and tails.

Wax Benches

Rode doesn't confuse your with 5 different wax tables. They simplify your options down to a heavier but cheaper steel option, and a lighter but more expensive aluminum option. Everything made in Italy, they do not give up any quality in their craft. The accessories available for these tables are all designed to work seamlessly with them by slotting into the tables themselves. Other profiles can still be clamped-on though we recommend getting the Rode accessories.

Steel Table
A sturdy, heavier table for setting up your wax bench wherever your need. This table is able it be mounted with either 2 XC forms, or 2 alpine vise set-ups. A travel bag is available for this table as well.
